         <description><![CDATA[<div>Amoebas ingest food materials through phagocytosis, where the cell membrane engulfs a particle of food and brings it into the cell, pinching off and forming a food vacuole. The food vacuole fuses with a lysosome and the food is then broken down into smaller parts that diffuse through the cytoplasm and can be used for metabolic reactions.</div>]]></description>
