Candy is a promise in that place. If you give a girl a candy means a promise to be married in their world. Once upon a time, there once was a girl named Melanie and a boy named Jose who were friends at the start of their lives. One day without Melanie, Jose went out to go and buy Melanie a beautiful ring made out of candy. The Ring Pops were the best out there in all of the lands. Then , it happened the bug day where Jose was about to ask Melanie to be married. Melanie said "YES!" High school sweethearts for life! Then after a couple of months later after there wedding, Melanie started to think to herself of how much she rather just give the ring back to Jose because she had broken a promise to marriage. Jose listened to Melanie's truth and was told that she gave some candy to Isasis and now just in the world of CandyLand, when you give someone candy, you're doing it out of the kindness of your heart to make that person happy for a long time and with that promise, comes along a ring, you have to be married to that person. Well, Melanie basically promised a marriage with Isasis. Melanie had ended up giving back the ring to Jose because she never loved. Jose moved on in the end, but was still happy for her in the end!
