         <title>Kings and Queens</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Kings and queens were the greatest lords of the Middle Ages. Thy had to be born into a monarchy if they were going to be a king or queen. They owned a lot of land, however they gave a lot to their vassals (nobles and knights), in return for protection.  With the land that they had, kings and queens built castles for protection.</div>]]></description>

Noble's power depended  on how much land they had, and they got land from kings in return for protection. Lower ranking nobles would have to give the upper ranking nobles food and shelter if needed.</div>]]></description>
