  • Reveals new ways to solve problems.
  • Allows students to deepen their own knowledge by explaining their thought process to other students of the group.

  • To sort students into groups to practice and deepen knowledge.
  • To assign students jobs within the group.
Implementation Technology Tips:
  • Apps such as Class Dojo or Team Maker
  • Both apps will electronically divide students into equal groups and assign jobs.
  • Allow students to use Chromebooks to take notes to collaborate thoughts in a Google Drive that can be shared with other peers.
  • Allow groups to create questions in a Google Doc of the knowledge learned and have questions placed on the smartboard.  Have the class as a whole use Plickers to answer the group created questions.
