I think "Wonder" is a good name because it is like how august is a" Wonder".It's related to the story because everything is around august in the story and his parants are always around him taking care of him.If I didn't like the title of the story I would called it August And Friends .I would have called it that because August and his friends are telling the story.

In the novel "Wonder" by R.J Palacio, the setting impacts the development of the character August. The place where August and his family live is New York City. The town is called North River Heights. Living in the city impacts on Auggies life because living in New York City their is a lot of people there but he didn't want to go outside and walk around and he didn't want people to see him.The school goes to is Beecher Prep . (When me and mom arrived at Beecher Prep I saw Mr.Tushman standing there .(p 15).This evidence supports my claim because when he goes to Beecher Prep he has less self conciousness.

The main character of the story is August Pullman . I think his character traits are intelligent and brave .I think he is intelligent because it says in the story (I was already good at opening locks (p39). I think he is brave because in the story it says (I held up my hands up in front of Jack like a traffic cop. (p226).

MY character I picked is Jack will. Two character traits i will give him is caring because whenEddie was saying stuff about August so Jack said(Leave him alone...)(p266).I also thinkhe is protective. I think he is protective because it says (you don't need to be friends with that freak if you don'twant to . thats when I punched him right in the mouth.)(p154)

The point of view the story is written in is first person. I like how the story has different points of view from different people. It helped me understand how everyone thought about everything. It also helped me understand how everyone felt. Yes, I liked reading from the different points of view, because it helped me understand everything better.

There are a lot of themes for the realistic fiction novel "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio. Another piece of evidence is, "When given the choice between being right or being kind, choose kind." (pg 48) I said this, because you should not always try to be right all the time, but you should be kind all the time.

Something that could happen at the end of a novel is a happy or sad ending. Yes, I liked the end, because it was a nice ending. If I had to change the ending, I would give August the award for being the smartest. If I had to add something, I would add them having a party at August's house.

There are many themes for the realistic fiction novel "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio. One theme is "Don't judge a book my it's cover." One piece of evidence that I have is, "As the desks started to fill, I did notice that no one sat down next to me." (pg 337) I said this, because nobody will talk to him, kids would not even touch him, because they thought they would get something called the plague.
