Lastly the astronauts have seen the Earth and they know that Earth is awesome but fragile it really is.

2. What is the overview effect?

The over view effect is the way we are connected. If we worked on spaceshuttles and skyscrapers we can treat our beautiful planet better.

3. How is the Earth like a Space Ship?
You need to take care of space ships like you need to take care of Earth. If we run out of our natural materials we are in trouble.

4. What are the basic requirements for human life on Earth?
The things I need to stay alive are water, sunlight, food, shelter, plants, soil, pressure, air, our atmosphere, and energy. I feel very blessed to live in the world I live in. I have all the needs I need to survive.

5) Will Earth always be able to provide what we need to survive? If yes how? If no, what will prevent it?

No, Earth will not always be able to provide what we need to survive because one day we will run out of our natural resources. People are not care on the stuff we use. We don't think before be bye an certain object.

If no, what will prevent it? 8/23/18

Earth will not always be able to provide what we need since eventually, Earth will run out of natural resources and survival will be harder. Eventually, the Sun will go out and there will be not natural light on Earth, making life pretty much impossible. 🤦

1) What are the three main takeaways from the video?✌✌✌😎😎😎😀😀😀😀😀
- Earth is more beautiful that you ever realized from the perspective of space.

- The earth looks very fragile from space and you see the very thin layer protecting everybody from death.

- We are responsible for ourselves and our future. The more we damage the planet the worse our future will be.

2) 👍👍👍What is the overview effect?
The overview effect is being able to see everything at once at the SAME time. Your mind is opened about how everyone and everything is similar not different.

3) How is earth like a spaceship?
😂🤴🤴Earth is like a spaceship because you realize how small it really is from space and it broadens your mind on the fact that other planets might be inhabitable.🥨🥨🥨🥓

4) What are the basic requirements for human life on earth?
We as humans need water, food, air, shelter, energy source and most importantly oxygen.🌎🌎🌎🌎🌎💧💧💧🍔🍔. VITAMIN C!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5) Will earth always be able to provide for our needs to survive? If yes, how? If no, what will prevent it?
I don't think it will always be able to provide for our needs because there are basic natural resources that will become scarce and then out. The only way to prevent this is to continue developing new ideas and inventions to further renovate the way we live.

1. What are 3 main take-aways from the video?
Three main takeaways from the video are that it is as important/more important to view Earth from space as it is to take off to the moon and view the moon from space. Also, seeing things from different perspectives can change how you view things. Seeing Earth from outer space can change your view/what you think of Earth. If Earth dies, then humans will become extinct. We must take care of our environment to save the Earth.
2. What is the Overview Effect? The overview effect is something that humans feel when they are seeing Earth from outer space. They come to realize that there is more than what they see from the inside and also what they see from the outside.
3. How is Earth like a spaceship?
Earth is always moving around it's pole (in the center of Earth) as a spaceship is always traveling in space to see different planets/moons and it is also able to support life in space, just like a spaceship can keep the astronauts alive while in space.
4. What are the basic requirements for human life on Earth?
- Water
- Shelter/Ground/habitat
- Oxygen/air
- Food
- Warmth/temperature
- Energy source/sun
- Dirt/soil
- Plants
- Pressure
- Atmosphere/protecting from radiation
- Gravity
- Friends/emotional support
5. Will Earth always be able to provide what we need to survive? If yes, how? If no, what will prevent it? 8/23/2018
I think that Earth won't always be able to provide everything we need to survive because of global warming/climate change. Global warming will make the temperature change a lot (get hotter in the summer and colder in the winter). Also, Earth might run out of resources in the future/there also might be too much overpopulation that there isn't enough of all the human needs for everyone.

1. What are the three main takeaways from the video?
Here are the three main takeaways:
-We all have to care for the Earth, Without the Earth, none of us can survive.
-The Earth is beautiful and alive, but we don't appreciate it enough. We have to appreciate this fragile planet that protects us from all the dangers of space.
-Everything looks different from space- the sun, thunder, city lights. Everything is always changing.
2. What is the Overview Effect?
The Overview Effect is the effect that we have when seeing Earth from space, to see all the beauty all in one picture.

3. Will Earth always be able to provide what we need to survive? If yes, how? If no, what will prevent it? 8/23/18
No, because eventually the Earth will run out of water. And there is no other source for fresh water. Also, because of global warming, Earth might also run out more more resources in the future. The population is too vast for Earth to keep supplying, century after century.

1.) What are the 3 main take-aways from the video?

Here are the three main takeaways 😊:

- The Earth is incredibly beautiful, yet fragile, therefore, we have to take good care of it, and come together as a whole.

There are many examples of how earth's ecosystems are failing, and are losing the ability to better sustain life.

- The astronauts really make you appreciate the beauty of space, and how we are "all in this together", as one big, spaceship earth.

- Everything is connected, and as the astronauts wisely said:

"Individual, the whole, is part of the other, manifest whole."

All life forms are somewhat connected to other life forms, however distinctively, and will continue affecting each other.

2.) What is the overview effect?

"Spaceship earth. We're on earth already, it's just we haven't seen that overview, the whole picture."

When the astronauts are out in space, they feel like they can see everything on earth, a feeling they've never had before.

3.) How is Earth like a spaceship?

Earth is like a spaceship because of how the individual, the whole, is part of the other, manifest whole.

It makes you appreciate the concept of spaceship earth, the fact that we're all in this together.

4.) What are the basic requirements of human life on earth?

There are many things that help us maintain life on earth. Here's some examples:

-Clean Air (oxygen)
-Water (freshwater)
-Food
-Warmth (the sun) and a Energy Source
-Shelter and Clothing
-Atmosphere (pressure)
-Plants and Vegetables and animals (which is food)

-Gravity

5.) Will Earth always be able to provide what we need to survive? If yes, how? If no, what will prevent it?

Many things can occur that will eventually make Earth impossible to have human life.

For example, we will out of resources for everyone (food and water).

Global warming is also effecting earth, making ice melt in the arctic and causing much damage.

If yes, how? If no, what will prevent it?
I think that if we don't do anything to control the human population, eventually we will run out of space on Earth (eventually). Or, we might not have enough food production, clean water, or clean air to sustain a much larger population.
