Our title is Tech it out! Transforming Engagement in the Classroom. The workshop is designed for 8th-grade teachers who are experienced educators but may not be tech-savvy.

The three topics we will be covering are Edpuzzle, AI tools, and Gamification. We selected these three topics because we want to share different ways to provide more motivation, engagement and encourage active participation in the classroom.

The ideas are thought of because students gamification is our youth's culture, they love competition, and collaboration, and immediate results.

Ideas of mine include: Gamification ie Gimkit, Quizziz for assessments, and Canva platform for projects (PBL). My topics may include: The Arts in History: Music, Visual, and Drama.

Reasons for these proposed topics: Integration of History and Art. My collegue teaches art and I teach Social Studies.

The megacognition of the Fine arts assist one in learning historical facts and connect to relevance.
