A Political Cartoon is a cartoon that speaks on the topic of politics with comedy often used to push the points of the creator. This is different than propaganda because propaganda usually creates negative emotions in whoever sees it. In this image the symbol of the donkey is supposed to symbolize democrats, the symbol of the bulldozer is supposed to symbolize destruction, and the wall is supposed to symbolize America and how the bulldozer is destroying it. Overall the message is that the donkey is distracting you from the bulldozer destroying the wall.

A Political Cartoon uses a comedic and artistic approach to create a certain feeling regarding a political position to an audience. A Political Cartoon can either be used to uplift a political idea or to throw one under the bus and make that political idea look bad. Propaganda, on the other hand, usually is a piece of information that is false or over exaggerated to degrade a political opinion or agenda. In this political cartoon, the artist shows Donald Trump as President. To his face, his men tell him that they will do what he says and respect him, and when they walk out the door, they throw away his orders and talk bad about him. This political cartoon influences audiences to believe that even Trump's own men think he's stupid and a moron, so why should anyone vote for him? They make him look like a tyrant. Political cartoons can be very influential for voters and for influencing people's beliefs on a political stance.

Political Cartoons are different from propaganda in the way that propaganda is about telling people that something is what it is not, while political cartoons use satire humor to get a political point across. This political cartoon is trying to tell people about how the world is viewing how China and the USA handle their economics, and how the USA is doing compared to China. The "Economic Super Bowl" sign represents how China and the USA are supposed to be the leading powers of the world. The USA team fighting each other is supposed to signify how the USA is defeating itself without China having to do anything. The stadium setting and the packed crowds represent the rest of the world watching this all unfold. The cartoon likely is trying to tell people that the USA needs to get their act together if they want to compete with China in any way, as you can't play the game if your team is fighting against itself.

A political cartoon is an image that brings a humorous light to a political topic. It can be taunting or making fun of someone or something. It is not meant to be taken seriously. Propaganda, on the other hand, is usually not true and used to send a certain message or belief to a targeted audience. Propaganda is a lot less comedic and can actually brainwash its audience.
This political cartoon is addressing the abortion issue. On one side, we see a monster under the republican sign and a lady surrounded by butterflies under the democrat sign.
1. The monster is illustrating how republicans are viewed to the artist as heartless creatures only caring about the birth and not the life of the mother. The words "forced birth" are written on his shirt. 2. The lady on the right represents the liberal side that offer abortions to mothers with unwanted pregnancies.
3. The lady on the right also has the word "choice" on her shirt, representing the Democratic view on abortion that it is the mother's choice on what to do with her body.
