Objective: Practices correct pronunciation of the final ending sounds of regular verbs (-ed) in the past tense  (/t/ and /d/  sounds)

Preparation: Students look at some sentences that the teacher displays, read them out loud, and determine the verb tense used in the sentences.

Presentation: Students take a look at the 2 rules to pronounce ending sounds for regular verbs in the past

Controlled practice: Students are given a list of verbs to practice pronunciation and take a look at the rules

Semi controlled practice: Students then use the verbs to make sentences, they must pronounce the ending sounds /d/ /t/ and when saying the verbs

This activity focuses on accuracy.
