After I heard "gender equality" the first impression comes to my mind is that gender discrimination both relating to female and male. Also I remember that in the early America that women had a less rights than men. They only can stay at home, do some house work and take care of baby, it shows very unfairly.

For me, feminism is a belief in the equality of both male and female sexes.

Some feminist organizations help women to be aware of their own power and rights. However, the overly aggressive actions of some organizations have led to a negative impression of feminism among many people.

1. I learned that feminism is not just about women's rights, it's about achieving equality for everyone. In our today's world, many people still face inequality because of their gender, for example, like some people change their male to female. This shows that feminism is important in helping all people get equal chances in work and education.

2. I am reminded that gender is something society must fighting for. Even today in our modern world, women have less chances to be leaders because they need take care of baby so they have a less time to sacrifice for the company.

3. I now understand better about how feminism can make the world more respectful and equal place. When people treat each other fairly, then our world can become more stronger.

4. I feel "In The Strange of Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde," society judged people based on appearance and and reputation. This shows how gender are inequality.

1. I learned about the challenges female authors face in comparison to their male counterparts in the past. For example, female writers have to change their names to a more masculine-sounding name to get published and win an equal audience.

2. I am reminded that in the past, there was unfairness between males and females, but most of the females were ignorant of this situation and put those stereotypes on other females. (even though they were females themselves )

3. I now understand better why females fight for their rights and view it as so important. It is not only about achieving equality in society, but also about gaining control over their own life and identity.
