Storytelling with paper aligns with the principles of thinking with materials, as discussed in the book "Encounters With Materials in Early Childhood Education." It emphasizes the active and participatory role of materials in sparking imagination and cognitive development. When we engage in storytelling with paper, it becomes a medium through which stories come to life. We can fold, cut, and shape the paper to create characters and settings, enhancing the narrative experience. Visuals play a significant role, stimulating the imagination and deepening understanding. By embracing this approach, early childhood spaces can be transformed into dynamic environments that foster connection, imagination, creativity and engagement.

However, I discovered that the selection was quite limited. The only types of clay available were in brown and white colors, commonly used for pottery and sculpting. Nonetheless, I also stumbled upon light clay, which caught my attention.
