We found the band on Unsigned.com, after a long time searching for an artist that we felt we could create an interesting music video for. We used this website to overcome copy right issues. If we created a music video for an already existing band it would have meant that we would be copyrighting that artist as they are already signed to a record label.

We used YouTube to find similar artists that are of the same genre as the one we chose. We used YouTube to gain inspiration for our music video and YouTube is the easiest way to find music videos.

This also helped me in the early stages when looking at general conventions of music videos as we as looking at the conventions of music videos that are of the same genre that we have chosen.

We used padlet to present the job roles within our group. This is an easy site to use and displays the work professionally.

We used this website when we were getting audience feedback for our ancillary sketches. We used this website at it was easier than asking and writing down people's comments about the sketches.

We used this editing software to edit our music video. We used this editing software as it allowed us to add special effects such as the spilt screen and freeze frames whereas if we used iMovie we wouldn't of been able to do this within our music video. It took a while to figure out how to use the software however once we figured it out it was quite easy and simple to use.

We used this website to create our pitch on. This website allowed us to make our presentation look more professional and it is also easy to use. I also used this website to display information about the production, our chosen genre etc.

I used this website when creating our ancillary tasks. We used this website to edit the pictures that we took of our actor for the front of the digipak and poster. We used Photoshop to change the brightness and saturation of one of the pictures to make them look the same. This website really helped us to create good quality ancillaries and meant that we could create the ideas that we had.

Vox Pops

We also created a vox pops during the research stage of our music video to gain feedback of what our audience wanted to see in a music video and what their favourite genre is. We asked ten people six questions about music videos to gain information that would help us with the planning and making of our final production.
