Respectful- While Simon is more worried about what the older boys are up to, Piggy tries to make sure that everyone is involved and included and in the beginning of the book, he even goes around and tries to remember everyone's name. 

2. Sensitive- Piggy tends to get hurt over small things that are not very important, such as, not being able to tag along with the boys while they go see if they are on an actual island.

3. Mature- Instead of worrying about getting meat, Piggy helps them remember that they have bigger problems than that. Tough - Piggy is tough because even though he was the most picked on, he still continued to stand his ground. For example when he had the conch and no one listened to him,, he didn't give up. He kept pushing until his voice was heard. 
Respectful - No matter how rude the other boys got to piggy, he never once was rude back. He learned to be mature enough and take it. He always valued everyone else's opinion and always though of someone when making a decision.

Strong Willed- Ralph always had his own ideas of what should and shouldn't be down in comparison to others in the group. Ie. when Jack was determined to hunt and so was the rest of the group he was determined to create shelter, and keep the fire going. 
2. Intelligent- Most people assume that the only really smart people are Simon and Piggy but while Simon is wie and Piggy is book smart Ralph seems the best at being able to see a the larger picture. He was the driving force of ensuring there was a fire to keep them safe and them having shelter for when it stormed again.
3. He thinks about each problem before he proposes the correct answer to it.
Bad Leader - Ralph and I both are intelligent and can solve problems but we have trouble with commanding. Ralph was at first elected as a leader over Jack but as the story goes on no one listens to Ralph and he loses his ability to command others.
Tough - Ralph manages to stay alive until the end on the book even though he is being hunted by Jack and his gang of hunters.
