"Street Warrior" by Ralph Friedman is one of the best books I've ever read. It tells the heroic stories of New York Police officer Ralph Friedman during his time working in the south Bronx in the 70's. Back then there was danger at every corner for a police officer and this book really goes in dept on what life was like for a cop in the south Bronx in the 70's. This book will leave you on the edge of your seat wanting you to read more and it gives you a whole new respect for police officers and what they have to go through on a daily basis.
https://www.amazon.com/Street-Warrior-Decorated-Detective-Discovery/dp/1250106907

"Everything I never told you" is a beautifully written book starting with the story of an American Chinese family and how the death of a dearly loved sister, and daughter, Lydia tears them apart. This story is absolutely heart-wrenching and suspenseful, I couldn't put this book down. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18693763-everything-i-never-told-you?from_search=true

"The Accusation" is a very well-written book that tells a story of a young man named Oscar that is accused of beating up his English teacher. Almost everyone turns against Oscar and he worries about being accused of putting his teacher in a coma, but he finds out who actually did it to prove his innocence. The book was very interesting and exciting. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5844648-the-accusation
