TS: In the Ancient Indus River Valley the technological advancements included building the Great Bath, having beautifully structured houses, having an amazing drainage system, and having an unknown language.
Great Bath
One great example is the Great Bath. It was the biggest building in the Indus River Valley, and it was just a gigantic bath. We don't know exactly what it was used for, but we know it was either to bathe in or for their religion. It was made of waterproofed brick and was 39 feet long and 8 feet deep. Also, there were pipes that led to their drainage system to empty out the bad water.
Structure of Houses
The people in the Indus River Valley also had great ways of making houses to access their needs, and get the bad water out of their houses. The houses were dense multi-storied buildings, that were perfectly oriented to catch the wind for their air conditioning. They were made of mud-brick, and faced narrow alleys. By facing narrow alleys this allowed them to have big courtyards in the back of their house.
Drainage system
Their drainage system was connected to all the houses, and it used gravity to run the water out of the towns. This allowed everyone rich or poor to have a bathroom.
Also, they had a plumbing system that was very good.
.

TS: The trade and economy in the Indus River Valley were really good because of the great geography, the trade with Mesopotamia, and the Seals that are so great.
Geography
The Indus River Valley is located in the flood plain of the Indus and Sawartes Rivers. These rivers flooded reliably and flooded twice a year. It is located in modern day Pakistan and Northwest India.
Trading
The people in the Indus River Valley traded well with the people in Mesopotamia. They traded only with Mesopotamia, but since they lasted for a long time we know what they traded with Mesopotamia worked, and kept their civilization growing. Their main export was cotton cloth which was hard to find outside of the Indus River Valley.
Seals
The seals in the Indus River Valley are where we find most of the information about the Indus River Valley. The Seals were identification markers for the people. On the Seals, you could find writing and pictures (Violatti;Green).

In the Indus River Valley, we are not positive about anything in their religion and Culture, but we can take guesses on their, Gods, religion and their clothing.
Gods and Goddesses
The people in the Indus River Valley
celebrated a mother goddess who symbolized fertility. They also worshipped a male God named Pashupati who was the lord of the beasts. We know of both of these Gods because we can find them on Seals.
Type of Religion
On the Seals, there are swastika signs that symbolize Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. This shows that multiple religions could've been celebrated there. We know that the earliest sign of Hinduism is before and after the Harappan period.
Clothing and how they looked
A typical man in the Indus River Valley had a short, tidy beard and a clean upper lip. His hair would be tied back with a band, and he is wearing a patterned robe over his left shoulder. Then his expression is calm and noble which shows how men acted (Sanujit; "Unlocking the Secrets of Mohenjodaro").

The government in the Indus River Valley had struggles and caused the decline of their civilization because of their inability to survive a crisis whether it was an earthquake or an attack.
Attacked
The people in the Indus River Valley did not believe in having warfare, so they didn't have any weapons in their civilization. They were peaceful and didn't expect to be attacked because of their location and peace. They might have not been expecting nomads to come and look for destruction, so they didn't have the ability to fight back.
Earthquake
Another idea is that there was an earthquake and that made the decline of the Indus River Valley civilization. We know that since the people lived on the river if an earthquake came it wouldn't be surprising, but the government did not no this. Then if an earthquake did come they wouldn't know what to do, and there would be tons of panic and confusion (Green).

Language
We do know the Indus River Valley did have a written language because we have found this on pots and pans around the city. This language is now called a dead language because we don't know how to decipher their language, and we are not used to seeing symbols like theirs or Pictionary which they also used ("Unlocking the Secrets of Mohenjodaro").
Flooding
Another problem that could have happened is a flood. This wouldn't have been expected because of how reliably the Indus and Sawartes river flooded, but it wouldn't be surprising if one year they didn't flood like usual and caused a massive amount of flooding. The government would not be ready, and it could've lead to the destruction of the civilization.
