With this work, goya denounces the massacre of the Spanish by the French army. We see in the foreground, Spaniards who died in a bloodbath with the French army who despite everything, points his weapon on condemned Spanishs.it shows that the French will not stop and aren't afraid to massacre everyone. In the background, we see Spanish peasants who are going to be killed. a man asks forgiveness on his knees, a man hides his eyes. their behaviour symbolizes fear. The picture is gloomy everywhere except in the middle at the level of a man. This man has his arms raised to the sky and looks at the French soldiers ready to kill him right in the eyes. The light on this man made think of a martyr, like Jesus Christ, which symbolizes the Spanish resistance. There’s a strong shade of color on this board. The Spanishs are highlighted unlike the French soldiers who are in the shadows as to hide their cowardice and remain anonymous. French soldiers are dressed in a dark color unlike the peasant who has beige trousers and a white shirt to symbolize his innocence and purity. We know that Frida started this self-portrait in 1940, the year of her divorce with Diego Rivera but will not manage to finish it until 1943. This self-portrait is therefore really a symbolization of his suffering in love after his separation. Despite her many deceits, Frida still loves diego and can not forget him, she lets him know through her painting, something that he binds them forever. On her self-portrait, she wears a traditional Tehuana outfit, an outfit adored by Diego. Around Frida’s head, we can distinguish a kind of spider web, which would lock Diego and her in the same place, which would symbolize her desire to find him and that he no longer escapes her and possess all her love for her.

The return of the latter did not delight the members of his village in so far as defeat was very badly accepted among the Vikings.

In addition, his sons, Ubbe, Sigurd, Hbitserk and Ivar, learned that their father Ragnar had concealed the massacre of the Viking settlement in Wessex following the pact with King Ecbert. this scene creates extreme tension through its many silences, only Ragnar dares to speak. From the moment Ragnar shouts “Do it” a thud is heard in the background which accentuates the tension of the scene. It’s a constant tension throughout the whole scene where Ragnar keeps getting close to his people and suggesting he kill them. The brightness and the dark colors in the costumes that one perceives accentuates the tension of the scene that made it more dramatic by its dull colors

Arrived at the station for his new investigation that morning, Her boss tells her that she will be in charge of an investigation that occurred last night at the entrance of the city of New York with his teammate. When she arrives on the scene, everything seems so familiar, she feels uncomfortable. The New York Police, already on the scene, presented him with the crime scene, but when he saw the victim, a flash crossed his mind. She then turns to her partner and says these words that will freeze her blood: "I saw the murder, I know who the killer is."

The police doesn’t believe her. Dona repeat et want that the police believe her. The police asks to stop and to work. The woman is sad and don’t understand why the police reacting like that. The police continue the investigation but the stories looks like more and more his dream. Finally, the woman decides to leave the investigation because she feels bad. She continue to make a nightmare and this stories haunt her. She will take a others investigation for to forget. 

After the strange investigation, the police discovers that the woman’s story was real. They don’t understand.
