This activity about the American Revolution is an excellent method of active learning. Students could absorb historical information by putting their own creative spin on the material, even making personal connections to their creations by adding pictures of themselves to their work.

Creating informational graphics about the American Revolution is one thing, but making a mini-podcast takes students' learning to the next level. It seems that most of the information is contained within their podcasts, so it would have been nice to see more facts on the collages themselves. Students could have created a comic to explain key historical moments, allowing them to "role play" in a sense and further synthesize the material.
