What happended:
A meeting led by William J. Seymour, an African American preacher. Revival was characterized by ecstatic spiritual experiences accompanied by claims of physical healing miracles, dramatic worship services, speaking in tongues, and inter-racial mingling. However, the participants were criticized by secular media and Christian theologians for behaviours comsidered to be outrageous.

What happen:  the ACS Clock Tower was a place where groups of students gathered together for regular prayer. In 1972, the Holy Spirit moved upon the students “in a dramatic way … the result was similar to the experience of the apostles at Pentecost”. What: Over 100,000 people converted .  Evan Roberts had a great desire to have a communion with God.
