Person vs. Self
Because her parents moved around a lot, she never had a chance to really find herself and see where she belongs.
"Someday I will have a best friend all my own. One I can tell my secrets to. One who will understand my jokes without me having to explain them."
Person v. Himself and laws:
Louie's cousin got arrested for stealing the fancy yellow Cadillac. " The nose of that yellow Cadillac was all pleated like an alligator's, and except for a bloody lip and a bruised forehead, Louie's cousin was okay. They put handcuffs on him and put him in the backseat of the cop car, and we all waved as they drove away. ''
Person v. Society:
When the nun suggests, "You live there." The nun looked down on her. It was like she was stereotyped based on where she lived.

But because of Mango Street, she was finally able to realize who she really is. "You can take the girl out of Mango Street but you can't take Mango Street out of the girl."
