It would be really great if a majority of the east coast and west coast doesn't get wiped out by high tides and high sea levels. Another issue is wildfires. They have caused so many problems in recent years. Everything is becoming so dry and this is polluting the air and ruining the ozone layer. There are several causes of wildfires. Sometimes it is as small as someone being stupid and throwing a lit match into a bush or not realizing it still has embers. This starts a fire that is now destroying habitats and life. Even things such as lightning strikes which aren't preventable can be very dangerous. This means it is still super dry in the forests which is bad. I would love to see everything be okay in the future which is hard. I don't know if that's really as possible as it seems. It requires everyone to play their part which in the past hasn't really worked, at least not with everyone. I'm also concerned about other issues like plastic in the ocean. There are many problems in the world like pollution from cars, hunger in the world, unemployment, climate change, child trafficking, and laboring. All of these issues happen everyday. It needs to stop. My hopes for the future are that people will stop hunting animals for sport and just kill them for food in a humane way that doesn’t torture them. I also hope that people will TRY vegan foods like tofu and other meat alternatives. I don’t want people to convert to being vegans but to try vegan products and get a taste for them instead of giving biased opinions about vegan products.  We should also stop the use of paper and instead go for iPads or iPhones. We could save millions and millions of trees from being cut down and used for useless tasks. 



Concerns

We as humans will never change our ways. We start wars with each other and we kill each other. Pollution will never stop, deforestation will continue to happen, and many animals will go extinct. This isn’t a matter of will it happen but when will it happen. I hope that people can stop polluting so that landfills won’t take up so much space. 

My dream is to take care of the world more and make healthier options cheaper as well as electric cars cheaper. This way we can take care of ourselves and the planet. Solar panels are a good option too.

I hope we can stop climate change as the weather changes rapidly and many animals are being affected by the constant change in climate. A dream that I wish could happen is for some extinct animals to come back and appear again to start to repopulate once again. Another hope I have is for less trees going down. Too much trees are being cut for supplies and I love nature and seeing less trees is just sad. I really enjoyed seeing the difference after picking up all the trash people left behind so carelessly. A year or two ago I took a nature walk with my family and it saddened me knowing that people ruin our environment everyday, from cutting down thousands of trees to leaving a cup on the ground. I hope that in our future people can see the beauty of our world and take better care of it. Our planet deteriorates year after year. Animals and plants play a part in our lives and even our health, and it isn’t fair that in return we destroy their homes. I hope that we find another way to find resources without destroying entire environments. We lose many beautiful animals and plant species due to the human population overhunting them, which is something that needs to be controlled. This destructive behavior has gone on for years. My main concern is that it doesn’t stop, and it ends up being too late. I am not fond of the idea of rising sea levels. I live on an island and this idea is scary. As for hunting, just thinking about rhinos being an animal people won't know about in the future is just weird. Hunting to extinction is very much not a good thing. It can affect habitats and we don't need anymore of that. This will not only help us but it would benefit the animals too. Animals can’t control whether or not they are eating trash or what trash is left in their habitat. The better condition their habitat is in, the healthier they are. Animals being healthier is a plus for us humans. Animals are a food source for us and if we kill them with our trash there will be less and less food for us. Whether it is trash in the woods or trash in the water, it is all killing the fish and animals.
