         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.Why the Roman Commoners have these laws publicly displayed because they wanted people to know what they can and can not do <br><br>2.  Roman law, the law of <a href="https://www.britannica.com/place/ancient-Rome">ancient r</a>ome from the time of the founding of the city in 753 BCE until the fall of the Western Empire in the 5th century CE. It remained in use in the Eastern, or <a href="https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Byzantine">b</a>yzantine, Empire until 1453 <br> Roman law has affected the development of law in most of Western civilization as well as in parts of the East. forming the basis of all law codes.<br>(</div><div>The new law, which consisted of the ordinances of the emperors  during the middle and later stages of the empire, was in a similarly disorganized condition. These ordinances or constitutions were extremely numerous and contradictory. Because no complete collection existed (earlier codices were not comprehensive), other ordinances had to be obtained separately. </div><div><br></div><div><br><br><br>3.
