List the differences between
1. the bell jar model,
(a) The bell jar is rigid so it cannot move to demonstrate the movement of the ribs in our body.
(b) the rubber sheet is pushed up to demonstrate breathing out. The diaphragm in our body relaxes in order to form a dome-shape itself. For breathing in, the rubber sheet is released to become flattened. The diaphragm contracts to become flattened.

2. the rib-cage model
(a) In breathing in, the intercostal muscles contract. But the rubber band in the model is under a lower tension.
2(b)It does not show the air flow but only the movement of the ribs.
2(c) the model needs external force to function but our muscles can control the movement of our ribs.

from the breathing system of human beings.

Refer to the working principle and mechanism of breathing for the differences between a model and the breathing system of human beings.
