I was immediately latched onto the "Animation" option, the fact that it was children's base didn't extinguish my excitement and I felt prepared to plot out ideas to show to a young audience. My one concern is that I cannot see where the age range starts or where it stops, I am assuming it is up to me. Difficulties that I struggled with would be plotting my idea, although confident with the category I am doing, I am indecisive towards what kind of animation I want to be creating, and with the freedom of having a "Custom based" idea, I can't select any of my favourite books, as I originally planned. I found a link of a Japanese, traditional instrumental, this will help me find the music I need for the idea I have which is based around Japanese lore. There were no problems with finding the style that I wanted to work with due to my natural, genuine interest and inspiration for the style. I want to focus on shading and house style more than any other thing, this will help me develop in my creative attributes. I adore drawing, however I deem my style too "laid back". During this process, I am planning to improve my style, in general. I have completed my mood board, a presentation of examples and screenshots of my inspirations and things that will help me in the upcoming project. I know animation isn't something that happens overnight and it will be a stressful task to do, but with research and help from forums, I will try my best to remain faithful to the project and not lose my temper. I will start with a script, then I'll make a storyboard, then an animatic, and then the animation. When making this Storyboard I had already finished the Script, making it easier to know what the characters will say and how I want to use them. After realising how close the deadline was, I was told I had to shorten the story to make it easier to produce, which I have shortened into a nine-scene animation that will probably last for less than a minute. First, I had wanted to draw an outline out of each background I had reserved. By the end of it all, I was told there wasn't enough time to do an animation and that the backgrounds would be very time consuming to outline one by one, so I took them in Photoshop and used a layer to edit them to make them appear like a painted picture to compliment my illustration style.
