Later, when Biff arrives, he tells Happy that his visit to Bill Oliver failed, as Oliver keeps him waiting all day and does not remember who he is. Out of spite, Biff steals a pen from Bill Oliver’s desk and runs away. Later, when Willy arrives, he reveals to his sons that he was fired. Unable to tell his father the depressing news, Biff leaves while Willy is babbling in the restroom. Happy uses the opportunity to leave his father to cavort with the woman and her friend.
