         <description><![CDATA[<div>Nick:<br>We agree on the fact that Nick is the main character of the story - the reason for that being mainly the ending where Nick tells George that he wants to leave town. Nick is different from the rest of the characters because he is the only one who has not experienced evil before.<br><br>Gangsters:<br>Throughout the story the gangsters (Al/Max) Shifts between being serious and witty. The fact that the gangsters joke around and talk with the people in the diner indicates that they are normal people and not just cold blooded killers. </div>]]></description>
