 The simularitys between the two story are that the endings both are kinda sad and leave you wondering like, Will Magpie get back to Dog? Or for Papa´s parrot, Will Harry keep the shop running? Will Mr. Tillian be okay? 

The diffrenses are 1. Papa´s parrot shows humans well Fox shows pesonified animals. 2.
