Some facts I know about pioneer life is that very hard because of these reasons. For example they would go to school for a very short time and grow crops. In addition they would walk to school and and use candle light to light the house. Also, you would trade for the stuff you want and build your own house. Lastly, feed the animals on your farm and get wood for fire. Therefore the life of a pioneer would be hard.

If I were a pioneer, I'd wouldn't be bored very often. I would be going to school a lot less, and get there by foot. Since there were no bored games and action figures, I'd make toys out of wood and string. For chores instead of cleaning the kitchen, I would help my mom in the garden, or pull crops. Instead of flippy shirts and designed clothes, I would wear a dress with an apron and a bonnet. I would also help cook and feed the animals, if we had a barn. My brother would learn to hunt with my dad instead of playing video games and chess all day. At school, instead of Mrs. Keller's smart touch screen board, we would have a chalk board. Food would be different, too. I'd eat more animals and vegetables instead of take out food. Therefore, my life would be VERY different.

If you were a pioneer, your fun would be picking crops, gathering wood, and feeding farm animals. You would have a small house and only walk places. You would be on the countryside away from towns and cities. You wouldn't be rich or have a lot of money, and you would make money by selling crops and milk. You get your food from farm animals. You got light from fire and heat from fire. And you get your water from lakes and ponds.You build your own houses, not construction workers.

You have to grow your own food,do longry,and fish.There are dirt roads,no cars, water from the river,and oil lamps.That is what colonist life is like.

If I were a colonist It would be adventurous because finding New York would like be just new and it would be fun because you could garden ,but you wouldn't be able to play video games no school would be fun but then you'd have to learn how to be careful not ruining you're family and you're water supply .So therefore ,life as a pioneer would be hard or difficult.

They will be overworked and have no idea what to think or do. You would have to farm a lot, raise the farm animals like you would have to feed them, you would go to school but only for 3 years after when they would work and they would help take care of the farm, lastly you would work as a slave. They also trade a lot of there things for new goods or money.

Pioneer life would be harder. Because they had to get their food by them self because their were no stores. Also they had to help their family build houses and start fires to stay warm.In addition, they some times had to trade because their was not as much money that we have now.I think their life would be harder.

If I was a pioneer I would have to hunt for food not go to Market 32 and get it. I would also have to build my house, not have people build my house for me I would have to do more around me. I would walk places, I wouldn't have a car or a limo, I would have to walk places and go to a friends house that lives 8 miles away.
If I was a colonist I would have to go to different towns to trade goods to get good goods.

If I were a colonist, I think it would be rough living. For example, I would have to walk 3 or more miles to get a little bit of water. In addition, I would walk to school, to get water, to go get meat, and walk a lot of other places. Pretend it was a cold day, and every night you were cold, and YOU would have to go outside and chop up some wood. Also, if you were able to go to school, you would have one big classroom filled with people. It would also be hard to live a pioneer's life because you don't have devices like the late 1900's. Instead of watching TV, you would go outside and find something to do. You would also sew a lot of stuff if you want different clothes. Therefore, I think it would be hard to live a life like a pioneers life.

I know that they played bowling outside back then and they really enjoyed it. The children would go to a little school were they used chalkboards, and had to walk to school. They only had three years of school, and when school was done the boys would help his dad with his job, and the girls helped their mothers around the house. They also had to build their own houses with wood they cut down and stone they mined out. There were no grocery stores back then so they had to walk to town and make a trade, or get something at the market. They would trade goods like sheep and corn.

It feels hard to be a kid colonist because you are always doing work. For example, after school you had to work in a barn. In addition, you also had to take care of crops. Therefore, that is what it feels to be a kid colonist.

the consties is different then now. It is hard work. you could not just sit down and play a video game.You would need to work hard to get your food. you can't pop popcorn in a mic or wave. You will have to got hunt for your food. There also wasn't a light switch to flick you had to get a candle or some sorts of light sorts. That is what a consties would do.

If you were a colienst you would walk to school. You would go to school everyday.You would go to school four 3 years. You would work after school everyday. You have heat you would have to build a fire and If you ran out you would have to chop down would. When the kids were done with work they would go out side to play.

The kids went to school six days a week. They had Sunday off.They had to walk to school. If food was needed I would go pick or get it ,a also I live near water so that is not a problem. For light candles and a fier would work. for warmth blanket and a fier work. To trevale I would walk or travle dy animal.

Didn't have internet, ipads, ipods, laptops, and all that stuff.

They had no cars.

They went to school for only 3 years.

After school, they came home and helped their parents around the farm.

They had dirty roads and not a lot of food.

They couldn't just go to price chopper to get their food.

I know in pioneer life they had to make a fire to keep warm. They had to hunt for food instead of going to the grocery store. If they wanted something some else had they would trade for it. And they didn't have a equipment to build a house, they had to build it by yourself. If you wanted wood you would have to cut down a tree instead of going to a lumber store.

If i was a colonist i would walk to school or i would get pulled by a carriage also if i had to go shopping at the store also you would have to do chores like dust the house and clean up the floor with a mop.

In a colonist environment people would have to get things themselves like food,items,toys and much more. One thing they had to find back then was food. How? One way was hunting. Another thing they needed to do themselves was to travel mostly by wagon. A last thing they needed to do themselves was to get their own water. Very few people had a good roof on their heads like us today and those few were extremely lucky. Therefore these are some things that colonists had to do when things were harder.
