I work mainly in the DMLL, and also in the School of Media and Performing Arts.
I have been teaching in University for over 15 years and love to experiment with new ways of teaching and with technology. 
I have a masters in IT and I am currently studying for a Doctor of Education. 
I hope to learn lots of new stuff from this module - you are the going to be the experts  !

I am studying BA Childhood and Youth Studies
I chose this module because I wanted to gain a new skill and learn how to develop a project. The project I had in mind was something to link in my existing course.
To complete my project I will read through different resources to gain knowledge. The skills which I would need will teamwork, self motivation and communication skills. I thought this module would be a great way to build up my knowledge and experience in the learning area. I was thinking of creating a project that is similar to my business idea about helping children with learning difficulties but using pen and paper rather than technology. I am already a tutor and work with children with learning difficulties already but maybe see if I can go into local schools or other tuition places to gain my knowledge in the area. Because the description intrigued me and I wanted to find something new to learn

I am not sure yet but have got a few ideas most of which are in some way linked to my course.
- how are you thinking of learning the skills you will need to complete your project?
I am hoping to use my research skills to find the information I require to better myself and achieve my end goal. I will need self motivation and an ability to set tasks and complete them on time.
- who would you like to work with on your project?
I am happy to work with anyone and hopefully gain knowledge and ideas from them to help me complete my project.

During my second year I am hoping to transcribe lectures faster and read more relevant texts as well as being more focused. I hope to come away with plenty of adaptable skills throughout my university course in order to help me as a graduate.

I was thinking of developing my CAD skills and cover as many tutorials on solidworks as i possibly can. hopefully this would improve my employability and make future uni projects alot easier.
i will learn the skills of my chosen topic by online tutorials on the solidworks website. i also do not mind who i work with, only aslong they wish to complete a similar project.
