How are the types of visual art you encounter daily different from one another? How could we categorize the art you found in your daily life? 

The types of visual arts that I encounter are different due to the environment in which you can find them and what they represent in that space. For example, in my study hall, I found art that resembled patterns, which goes with the organizational aspect of being a student-athlete. But, outside of study hall the art didn't necessarily have to be uniform it was free flowing much like nature or beuatiful moments which I find more appealing and captures the essence of what I view as art. I would categorize the art I see daily as puzzle pieces in the way that they fit exactly where they are supposed to but wouldn't anywhere else.

Are the visual arts important? What (if anything) would be lost if the daily encounters you recorded were absent?

The visual arts I encounter are important you just have to pay attention to what you are looking for. Often I can get into my routine and everything that is outside of it is blurred almost like tunnel vision. During this assignment it allowed me to really look at the environment around me. The amount of visual art I encounter on a daily basis that i would ignore is crazy but if it were absent i would immediately know that something felt off.
