The letter from the beast was read to the World Heroes. Climates are changing due to global warming and Little Owl is very tired and needs a place to rest due to changing climatic conditions. The bird's nest pictures were examined. A prototype of the nest to be built for the Little Owl was drawn on paper. Later, a nest was made for the Little Owl, which was the 1st challenge. When making the nest, cotton was placed inside the nest for cold days. Leaves were placed on the nest to keep it cool for hot days. Considering that she might be hungry or thirsty, water and feed were put in. Task 1 was completed.

1st STEAM Challenge amazed my students. We discussed their ideas and suggestions about the construction of the nest in circle time. Afterwards they shared responsibilities and worked all together with great enthousiasm. The result is far from being perfect but it's 100% their own work and they were very proud of it!
