1 kop zout 

3 koppen bloem (geen zelfrijzende bloem) 

1 kop water 

een eetlepel olie (aardnoot, maïs of olijf) 

een grote, stevige kom 

 

Zo maak je zoutdeeg: 

Meng het water en het zout in de grote kom. 

Voeg beetje bij beetje bloem toe en kneed het deeg met je (propere) handen. Een favoriete bezigheid van kinderen! 

Giet een eetlepel olie op het deeg en kneed alles goed samen. 

Als het geheel te korrelig en droog is, voeg dan nog enkele druppels water toe. Als het deeg te nat is, voeg dan een heel klein beetje bloem toe. 

 

Drogen & afwerken

  • Aan de lucht drogen: 24–48 uur (regelmatig omdraaien)

  • Oven (met hulp van een volwassene):
    100 °C, 1–2 uur

  • Daarna verven met plakkaatverf of acrylverf

  • Eventueel aflakken voor een mooi resultaat

Veiligheid

  • Niet eetbaar ❌

  • Handen wassen na afloop

  • Altijd toezicht bij bakken in de oven
