         <description><![CDATA[<div>Nitrous dioxide was first discovered in 1772 by an English chemist, called Joesph Priestly. In the late 1790s, his colleague - Humphry Davy examined the addictive properties of nitrous oxide and published his investigation in a book in 1880. A dentist, named Horace Wells discovered anesthesia with N2O in 1844. Its potential usefulness in psychiatry was discovered after Davy's death, and mainly used anesthetic concentrations of the gas [1] </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Laughing gas is an anesthetic used by many medical professionals to help people stay calm before a procedure [2]. Nitrous oxide has been suffocated by hundreds of millions of patients in medical settings mainly in surgery and dentistry since 1844. N2O also has provided people with many reactional uses, but recently, there has been increasing use of this psychopathic gas in most Western countries, Australia, and China [3] <br><br>However, there are some long-term problems attached to N2O such as lower blood pressure, fainting, heart attack, as well as psychological anxiety for those who use it as such an addictive drug. Nitrous oxide also makes the immune system become weaker and weaker if someone uses it for a long time, and causes memory loss [2] <br><br>With regard to its detrimental concerns toward the environment and health risks, a study showed that they had increased DNA damage. N2O also leads to a reduction in fertility rates in people working as assistants in occupations relating to N2O compared to those who don't. The formation of NO by the reaction between N2O and oxygen caused damage to the ozone layer. In fact that nitrous dioxide traps heat 300 times more than carbon dioxide, though it accounts for the least percentage of atmospheric gases. N2O has potentially resulted in global warming of 298, which is 12 times greater than methanes [4]<a href="https://doi.org/10.1093/bmb/ldx050"><br></a><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Nitrous oxide can be seen from the structure which contains only elements from the p-block. It is a molecular compound with polar covalent bonds in which there should be a triple bond between two nitrogen atoms in order to gain the octet rules. In nitrous oxide gas, nitrogen is in the +1 oxidation state. At 873 K, it breaks down into oxygen and nitrogen. This is why it encourages combustion reactions when an oxygen source is present [5].<br>This substance is a potent oxidant at higher temperatures yet is insoluble in water. It appears as a colorless gas and has a faintly sweet scent.&nbsp;<br><br>Chemical formula: N2O<br>Molar Mass: 44.013 g/mol<br>Melting point: -90.86 C<br>Solubility: 1.5 g/L<br><br></div>]]></description>
