PGCE students came each week with a clear focus. Communication was useful for me as a mentor in structuring their progress. Weekly emails useful for discussion of assessments and aspects of teaching geography.

Weekly emails helpful. Valuable particularly in weeks were PGCE students were not doing much teaching. They gave purpose and focus to the meetings and helped develop discussions - starting point to think deeper. Would be useful to have the hyperlinks to the pre reading.

Potential of revisiting ITAP aims during non ITAP weeks.

Great to have the information ‘brought to us’ which reduces the ‘friction’ as it were of needing to go to somewhere to find it (and logon and search etc) - moodle not a go-to place for us, email is. Is it a massive faff for you though Alison?
