With COVID there was always a decision making at school on what to do when someone got sick, was exposed, who was getting quarantined. The administration always thought what was best for the students, staff, and faculty and how it was going to affect us as a campus. It is all about making sure that our campus ran smoothly, even through a pandemic. In the article, Administrative Leadership: What is it? Why is it important? states, "it makes it clear that orchestrating the work of teaching and learning, mobilizing staff to achieve child and program outcomes, and establishing systems to effectively run a healthy, thriving organization are indeed leadership functions. " This means that for our campus to thrive and work we need a system that is going to work and serve our school community with a well rounded administrative leadership that can help through anything, especially during a pandemic.
