Immigrants and refugees represent a diverse and growing population worldwide. They come from various cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds and often face numerous challenges as they adjust to life in their new countries. This population includes individuals who have fled their home countries due to war, persecution, economic instability, or natural disasters. They often experience forced displacement, which leads to significant physical, mental, and emotional stress ( Mrabe, 2021). There is a stigma around receiving help along with language barriers and other psychosocial challenges (Im & Swan, 2022). This population often struggles with cultural competence, community engagements, economic stability, education and health literacy and overall well-being.
