         <description><![CDATA[<p>"Learning networks are based on the theory of connectivism, or learning from diverse social webs.&nbsp; Connectivism implies that learning relies on communicating ideas with others.&nbsp; PLNs facilitate learning through meaningful interactions.&nbsp; The advantages of PLNs today are two-fold.&nbsp; In one way, they can improve classroom teaching and help develop new projects.          <description><![CDATA[<p>As teachers, we are constantly learning and adapting our lessons with the new knowledge that we have received. PLN's offer sources that enables professional development. Teachers are able to add to their development everyday and can even focus in on certain areas that they feel they need improvement. With a PLN, teachers can add to the professional development days that are given to them by their schools and school boards by finding new things on their own time to constantly be improving on.</p>]]></description>
