The planned actions focus on five main areas:

1. Music

   • Organization of small music workshops led by a young person previously involved in the project, aimed at entertaining communities and especially unaccompanied foreign minors.

   
   

2. Trips and cultural visits

   • Excursions to Cammarata, Torre Salsa, and guided tours in collaboration with FAI (e.g., Underground Agrigento).

   
   

3. Creative and expressive workshops

   • Activities using cards, Dixit, drawing, storytelling, sharing personal experiences.

   • Cooking workshops at La Locanda: young people can join existing workshops or create new ones, depending on the available budget.

   
   

4. Sports activities

   • Organization of sports sessions with the help of an expert collaborator; possible martial arts activities (karate, etc.) in collaboration with the community gym.

   
   

5. Cinema and community space usage

   • Movie screenings and discussions at the former prison space.

     
     

Additionally, the youths will be encouraged to engage in volunteering activities, to support social inclusion and active participation.

The program will consist of 10 sessions, taking place between November, December, January, and February. Each group of participants may take part in multiple activities, ensuring a rich and diverse experience.

Proposed Approach (Draft)

We imagine organizing four online sessions led by wellbeing professionals (e.g. psychologists, educators). These can be:

• Light interactive workshops

• Thematic sessions focused on emotional health

• Practical tools and suggestions from professionals

Target audience:

• Young people and/or youth workers from partner communities

Role of our team:

• Support professionals with background info and objectives

• Provide facilitation, translation if needed, and technical support

• Manage logistics and documentation

Once we agree on the structure and target groups, we can proceed with identifying professionals, setting dates, and organizing the sessions accordingly.
