As homework , my teacher sets homework on a website called ‘Sparx’. I always have my homework done on time as it is due weekly. On every question , there is a video to help us and teaches us the technique for that question if we ever get stuck. I find this website very useful and although their are quite a lot of questions because 2 weeks ago it took me around 1 and 1/2 - 2 hours to finish it but I did find it hard that time , it helps us recap on what we did in class. It does bookwork checks to make sure we that are writing the questions down. The more often we get the bookwork checks wrong , the more frequently the checks will come up and this goes as the opposite the more we pass the checks. He also sets revision on a site called ‘MathsWatch’.

My current grade is an S+ which was what I was expecting or an M.

I could improve my grade to an M by participating more in class.Sometimes the techniques get to my head a bit slower than others which is a disadvantage.

In August I only knew about States of Matter and Particles in a Solid , Liquid and Gas. At the beginning of the year , Science was never one of my best subjects but I can confidently say I have made a big improvement. My test went quite well and on my report , my grade is an M and I thought I’d get an S+.

As this is my first year of doing History , I only knew about these topics briefly and not in-depth during the beginning of August. For homework , at the start of the year we never really got homework but towards the end of this term , we got more and our task was to finish off any of the incomplete work in lessons. My grade this term was an S and my ATL is 1. Even though I thought I’d get an S+ , S+ can still be my target for next term. To improve my score , I can participate more in class and upgrade the presentation of my work. As a test , my teacher wanted me to write an essay on The Tollund Man with us speaking as a police officer trying to explain what happened , why he died , who killed him and when did he die using evidence from sources to back our statements up. We also had a writing support to help us.

We haven’t done much as I only have geography once every week and have history times in a week.

In August , I never knew how to find a place/places on a map using 4 and 6 figure grid references. My class has only ever been assigned homework once which was to design our book so all my homework has been completed. My grade is an S+ and I’m hoping to bump it up to an M or keep my S+. My ATL is 1 so I would love that to stay. I recently had my test which went surprisingly well as it was announced the lesson we had it and I wasn’t confident about it beforehand. My score for the online test is 20/22 and on my written score I got 7/8 therefore my overall score was 27/30. I know where I went wrong and what I need to have a read over.

My scores for my tests weren’t that good so I won’t say them but my grade on my report was an S+ for both French and Spanish along with an ALT 2. To go from an S+ to an M next term I think I need to get better scores on my test and to get my ATL to a 1 , I need to participate more in class because I don’t think I have been doing so.
