         <description><![CDATA[<div>The two main things that make aircraft more and more difficult are the parts being as reliable as possible and everything being as light as possible. There is a practical limit to the total weight of an aircraft, so aircraft structures must be as light as safety and efficiency allow. While the plane is being built, two of them will be pushed out during structural tests on the ground. One is the maximum resistance load test, the other is the fatigue strength test. A third aircraft will be tested in the air. When a plane passes all its tests, it can receive a government certificate of airworthiness, which is illegal to fly without.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The component weight and reliability are two things that make aircraft construction problematic.  As engine power and fuel use restrict the size of an aircraft, the structure has to be as light as possible while taking into account safety factors.  The designer of each part must work out the normal load the parts will be under and then the components are tested for their maximum load and resistance to fatigue. The parts not only need to be strong but also reliable, as they must function in extremes of temperature.  In order to improve in these areas aircraft manufacturers employ people around the world to develop and test new materials.</div>]]></description>
