Some advice to new students, is to take your time on the assignments. You should make sure you have good grammar, and spelling. Another thing you should do is look over your work or have a friend or family member look over your assignments, having criticism from others can help.

I think that it is super important to add as much detail to your piece as possible, this can help your story make a lot more sense to any reader. I think that it is also important to work as hard as you can, because the harder you work, the more you will get to learn.

I think that a good way to begin your stories or ideas is to look for real life examples. For instance, when I was writing for my Post-Assessment in Fiction, I used a place in real life to help me with my ideas. Using a place that already exist can be a good way to give you ideas or start you off.

My advice would be to make sure you explain your work and ideas clearly and don't leave out any important information, and to make sure to use the proper grammar and check for any errors before submitting.

One piece of advice I would give to incoming students is to not be afraid to try something new or get out of your comfort zone. This course is really fun and really allows your creativity to run free within your writing. I would say to not be afraid to experiment with different genres and stories and to try your best always because even if those stories don't go well, they still help define you as a writer and can broaden your perspectives even further.

One piece of advice I would give is to try to stay at least a couple of days ahead if you can to have a little extra time on your post assessments. I would also say to make sure to keep up with your pacing guide, as it is really easy to miss an assignment if you don't update it every time you complete something.

The most important thing in this class is to HAVE FUN! If you enjoy writing, like me, then you're sure to enjoy the class. If you don't, then you just might fall in love with it! Also, let your imagination go WILD! Don't be afraid that your ideas are weird, or that they don't make sense, or that people may not like them. If they make sense to you, then there are people in the world who will love them. Don't hold your ideas inside, let them flow outward.
