This child was born HIV&AIDS and in a poor family so they cannot be able to afford food or medications.]]> 2018-01-05 02:53:12 UTC https://padlet.com/ivytoya/ee4yjypvapze/wish/218878918 ivytoya https://padlet.com/ivytoya/ee4yjypvapze/wish/218880606 HIV&AIDS has been a very big problem worldwide not just in Africa but then numbers are higher in Africa due to lack of  knowledge and education, lack of medications and poverty. i was aware about the increasing rate of HIV& AIDS but the numbers in some countries are very shocking. particularly for  me i come from Kenya and those are not the numbers i had heard before while back there. it a surprise how much information is with held from the public by the government back home. 
HIV&aids has affected me directly because i have had a family member who was infected and it was very emotionally &financially draining to everyone. It was even harder when the parents did and the children were left alone. the children ended up being divided because each family member took one child, it was not good for their growing because they always felt out of place.
its very interesting to see that the HIV&AIDS rate in Canada is not so high and also the fact that the right medication are readily available here.
