Self - report in Poto Travel & Tours around 8.45 a.m in Human Resources Department with my partner Nur Najihah Binti Shamsul. I was placed in Product Development (PD) and partner in Sales Department, this department in charge about tour package, travel itinerary, pricing and every information in tour package.

HR staff brings me to my department and introduces my line manager for Production Department, Ms Siti. 

Ms. Siti briefly explain to me what this department (PD) doing and given me first task under PD. Not so heavy task for the first day, I'm just scrolling the Poto's website to see the package that Poto have and the packages that will be launch soon for Matta Fair in March 2017.

Lastly, i need to open email and i was invited by manager, Ms Siti to join Family Outing for Product Development and Sales Department at Hulu Langat by this Friday until Sunday. I'm so happy that i was invited even i was new in Product Development Department.

So that, i can i know and get closely with other department not only for my department.

Today is my second day so i as a intern and team members of Delta still need to distributed the flyers for star cruise and magazines to people who comes to this events.

Next, i will try my best to get customer name, address, email and phone numbers for customer database. 

Today, i also get a chance to close deal with customer to buy a package  to Balkan for 2 pax and their departure on 16 October 2017. I also have an experienced to explain Balkan package and the customer are easy to understand and deal so they directly decide to buy a package. 

Next, i also get a chance to close deal with customer to buy a Honeymoon package to Bali, at the first i can explain regarding the package but i asked my team Ms Fadzliana to explain more regarding Bali honeymoon package because customers need to upgrade hotel from Uppala Villa to Bidadari Villa. After finish explain, so customers decide to buy a honeymoon package and upgrade the hotel.

Other than that, i mostly get a chance to close deal with customer to buy a package to Turkey for 6 pax and their departure are on 2 December 2017, i also ask Mr. Wan to helped me to explain more about Turkey and what are the attraction that customers must go to Turkey because Mr. Wan has been to Turkey before as a Tour Leader. After finish to explained, customers decide to think first but his wife interested to make a booked. I and Mr. Wan also try hard to push customers to buy, at the end they still choose to think first. I am so upset, but at least i tried.

It is not easy to achieve their target sale this year because Malay people less come to this event more than other race. 

Matta Fair Mac 2017 also give an opportunity to many travel agency especially for ground operator to market their new product idea.

I also need to be confident when i try to make a close deal with potential customer. Besides, i also fill in the follow up form for customer that request to travel with private coach or seat in coach.

My team was so sporting and always support each others to reach our target sales, database, and push product. We respect each other and try to find a new strategy to attract customer to buy our package.

So in Luoping there are many adventure trip, so i need to explore more and suggest what is the place to go for Senior Citizen and our main highlight for this package are to see Canola Flower at Golden Canola Field in end of February.

For this package, there no travel agent sell this package and highlight for kanhizakura flower in Okinawa. Mostly for Okinawa package they go for island trip.
