I was reading a manga called Kaiju.8 book 12. in the book kaiju are attacking Japan and defiance forces are fighting back but reacently a kaiju has went inside somebody and now he can turn into a kaiju (the 10th kaiju) there is so much more but I'm only on book 12. I would really recommend it.

I read the same book as Calvin Diary of a wimpy kid Hot MESS and basically it doesn't have a specific topic but he does get into a little hot mess and at the start greg the main character was saying in the first few pages that you don't get to pick your family,language or parents.And then he started talking about his meemaw sadly passed and out of the grandmas the family didn't know who would be the leader of the family until Greg's grandma made delicious meatballs at a party that everyone fell in love with and thought she should be the leader as her dog has caught grandmas sisters trying to steal the recipe multiple times.And it also shows a picture of Greg's other grandma trying to one up the meatballs with a SPINACH DRESSING.... But it never worked... (that's what i've read so far)

I read Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Last Straw. During this part of the book, his brother Roderick pushes him out of the hotel room wearing only his underwear and locks the door. He had to go and find his dad to unlock the door, sure enough he found him at the hotel vending machine because he craves sugar. Eventually he got back into the room but it was still embarrassing.

I read all of "Magic Tree House, The Graphic Novel: Pirates Past Noon". So, Jack and Annie are taken to an island near the Caribbean Sea, and a pirate named Captain Bones comes and calls Jack and Annie "shipwrecked orphans" because he doesn't know where they came from. Annie tries to stand up for herself and Jack after the pirates steal a medallion that belonged to M, a mysterious person, but she only puts them in a bigger problem, now the pirates think Jack and Annie have a treasure, which the kids have no idea about. When Jack and Annie refuse to tell the pirates where the treasure is, they trap them in their ship. While they are locked up, one of Captain Bones' partners, Peter, who he calls "Pinky", is helped by Jack and Annie to read a hidden passage that leads to a treasure. They come up with a plan before telling the captain and make it to the island. After thinking a bird was telling the pirates to go back, they left the island. But the bird was telling Jack and Annie to go back, so they did. Then, they meet Morgan Le Fay. The mysterious M person who was a librarian, and enchantress after they found out more about her, Morgan leaves, and Jack and Annie go home.

Although I am still within the exposition of this book, I am getting to know more about the protagonist Tate, who has recently taken up resident in a quiant Cape Code town. The description of the town reminds me a lot of Hilton Village. This weekend, I hope to dive deeper into more suspense as more the plot is revealed. However, I am really excited about this book after hearing both authors speak about their collaboration on a recent NPR interview. One author tends to center his books around themes of love, while the other writes terrifying scripts for movies with shocking plot twists. If adults in your life enjoy suspense, with romance, this might be a good recommendation for them!
