While all across the globe it has been a controversy topic, in the U.S. It is still unsure if it should be legalized or even decriminalized. While only 10% of Americans say that all drugs should be legalized around 52% say that only soft-core drugs such as marijuana should be legal. While there are many point of views on this topic. The U.S. is leaning more on allowing marihuana to be legal.

i believe this is a great topic to talk about because it brings a lot of controversial issues out , my biggest thing is what's the difference between a drug addict and a alcoholic ? They both affect and harm your body but alcohol is legal , my personal opinion is that it isn't legal because they can't put tax on it . Alcohol will kill you before marijuanna does . Lol

Legalizing drugs should not be seen as a way to stop people from taking drugs instead it should be seen as a way to stop the root of drug trafficking. People will always be addicted to drugs but we can only try to minimize it as much as possible.

While many people think that legalizing or even decriminalizing drugs could increase the use of drugs that could turn into addiction. It is shown in places that decriminalized it showed a decrease in addiction and drug crimes and deaths. It would also decrease drug trafficking because the government would provide and regulate the supply. That's why I think we should decriminalize drugs even though it carried a high risk.

look it. We look at it as a crime when in realty

we should help each other. The ones that are

I agree with the quote. A drunk needs help and so does someone with a addiction to drugs. the real issue is addressing those that abuse the substance. If the government doesn't regulate the drugs then their is no regulation and that's when problems go down like a drug deal gone bad leaving one party dead. which would never had happened if it was legal

I completely agree with your picture. Just because something is "illegal" doesn't make it impossible to get. The people who use/ get those illegal things are usually criminals anyways so telling a criminal not to get something that is illegal doesn't make sense. If you want something, you can get it either through the right way or through the wrong ways like the black market..

Personally I don't think we should start treating drug abuser as a health issue. For one, drug abusers are aware of what they're putting into their body. They know it's against the laws and by disobeying the laws, it should be treated as a crime.

That is a really good question that I have never thought of... I guess I could say I wouldn't just simply because that isn't what I am into but people would have to seriously think about if they would do it simply because it's legal
