That camp wasn’t just a getaway; it became the heart of a movement. It showed me that disability rights go beyond ramps or rules; they’re about pride, respect, and being treated like everyone else. Having a disability activist community matters because it gives people a place to be heard and supported. No one ABSOLUTE no one should have to fight alone just to be included.


For me, my role is to be an ally: to listen, learn, and speak up when something feels off. Even small actions matter.


Ableism, to me, is when the world is built to work for some but not for everyone. I see it in everyday spaces and conversations. Crip Camp really opened my eyes!!! #DisabilityRights #Awareness #CripCampReflection
