         <title>A Brief History of Canada&#39;s Constitution</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Canada's constitution as a separate country from Britain, began with The Canada Act of 1791.  It's first major revisions began in 1867 with the British North America Act.  This act helped Canada become more independent from Britain, and give the country it's own identity.  In 1982, the constitution was patriated, and renamed The Constitution Act.  This was accompanied by the implementation of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Constitution Act, 1982, completed the unresolved issues that prevented Canada from being fully independent from Great Britan, such as allowing Canadians to amend their own Constitution.  It also creates a standard for any future laws in Canada, forcing any and all currently implemented laws, and any future ones, to adhere to the rights and rules set out by the constitution/charter. </div>]]></description>
