         <description><![CDATA[<div>I completed my goal 2 of the 3 days I had a workout or race. My biggest strength was my will to help my team especially since we had our first race this weekend. The reason I failed one day was because I was absolutely drained physically and just wanted to lay on the couch and watch Blue Planet. I think the best way for me to be successful all three days for here on out would be changing the goal to 2 times for a workout day and once for a race day.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

The thing that helped me most was I wanted to talk to my old high school coach who was a parental figure for me about my race on Saturday. She ended up coming to my race and we got to chat for awhile after. My biggest failure was actually time this week since I moved into my new condo and have been very busy with that jazz. I don't think I need change anything about my goal since I will have more time from here on out.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I did yoga 1 day so I'll count that and meditated for 10 minutes the day before my race. It was fun learning more about yoga and learning meditation so that was my strength that helped. I struggled with actually clearing my mind due to stress, but with more practice I think I can be successful. More practice with my gf could help me.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

I still love food and hadn't had sushi in a bit so that made this easy. Didn't have a real barrier this week due to it being the first week.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Personally I think I've been decently aware of these ideas when building my relationships with friends, family and my girlfriend. My bottom line is don't lie and don't cheat. I've stuck to my bottom line and it's made for healthy relationships which has made for a healthy well being. Sometimes my conflict management causes me to lose just so the other person is happy which isn't great for my well being, but I've improved at combining conflict strategies to help with that. As for personality I like to surround myself with empathetic people because growing up I was surrounded by inconsiderate people. Open and honest communication is important for me and I expect it from others as well.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Most weeks I completed it every day we had a workout or race. My biggest strength was I had an injury scare in week two of my goals and that helped remind me how important it was to get a good recovery. Reducing it to two days a week helped a lot with my success but I still had a couple of days after races I missed because I was drained physically. I added blister prevention to my goal since I struggled with that after two weeks of races, but the prevention never helped (picture above). I will continue to stick with this goal because I've been like 90% successful and that's pretty good!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I was very wrong about me being less busy. Had to update this goal after I failed three weeks in a row. I completed this goal two weeks since I decided to change it to one person a week since I realized three wasn't possible. My biggest strength was wanting to improve my relationship with my family and even though it doesn't seem like much I talked to my Mom and Dad (separately) on the phone twice and feel like I made some progress toward a healthier relationship with them. I like the change I made to the goal and have been much more successful since. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I completed this goal everyday except for one day when I lost my book and didn't feel like borrowing anyone's. I feel like my academic goals I set for myself each week for cross country have really helped me complete this goal because I try to make them connected and my accountability buddies help make sure I'm on track. My biggest weakness was the class got modified and he removed the note sheets and replaced them with quizzed so I just switched that around for my goal. I feel like I've done a really good job with this goal and it has helped me with my overall senior goal of having 80% A's this year. I feel like this goal is in a great place and has helped me feel proud of myself since I really struggle with procastination. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I've gone above and beyond for this goal! I've completed it every week and some weeks I've done over an hour of mediatation. Most of the time it is to help me prepare for exams or races or just stress in general. I went to some night yoga classes because I thought they would be fun. My willingness to try new things has really helped me succeed with this goal. I think I can up this goal to 30-60 minutes a week to make it more challenging. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Successful every week except one, because I went on a cooking spree and didn't feel like eating out. Made some really good food so that's a positive with my failure. I got to know a lot of guys on the cross country team doing this and helped me feel better about myself. My favorite dnner was with my friend Luke and we went to China Dragons and talked about ghost experiences we have had until China Dragon closed. This goal was my personal favorite since it helps me and it feels good to be good to others. I'll continue this goal with the same idea of getting to know people better. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Update 2 Question: How do stress and perception of stress affect your well-being?</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I've really struggled with stress and a lot of my goals are built to help relieve stress. I grew up in an enviroment that caused a lot of stress and I believe it affected my health (physical and mental) and performance (athletic and academic) negatively. Since then I've tried to create an enviroment for myself that doesn't create unneeded stress. Some stress is healthy but you have to reconize and organize your stresses into the right cateorgies. For me I've managed to use the healthy stresses to improve my well being and I've done a really good job at elimating unhealthy stressed from my life by using stress relief methods that work for me.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Continued to stick with my original goal and the blister prevention I added to it. I was successful everyday up until regional week and I forgot my roller when we left for Joplin and my roommate didn't have one I could borrow. Then cross country season ended and this goal needed to be modified for my rest weeks. I changed it to strength/balance work 3x a week and completed it both weeks. My biggest strength continued to be my desire to help the team I ended up being the most consistently healthy runner on the team and was never worse than 3rd on the team. So I think this goal was accomplished and now needs modifying again for track season. My biggest barrier was just forgetting my roller when we left for the race.    </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I continued with the updated goal of 1 person a week and was successful every week. I made more progress with my mom and went home to Alabama to see my Dad. I face timed my sister. I went to Tennessee with my girlfriend and due to a better relationship with my mom the trip was way more pleasant than usual. I'm happy with how this goal has gone and it's the first time I've ever made a trip to see family during the school year so that's a good sign of progress for me. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Since my class switched to quizzes instead of note sheets this goal has become almost nature, but I don't think there is any need to make it more challenging for me since I have an A in the class. I was successful everyday. I wouldn't say I have any barriers with this challenge and my biggest strength has been working the track girls to keep ourselves motivated. We finished our last quiz today so I think going into next semester I will set goals like this one for all my classes since I've found a lot of success with it. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Since upping the goal to 30-60 minutes I was successful half the days and that's ok because I still did better than if I didn't set a bigger goal. My biggest issue was I didn't really feel a need to meditate or do yoga since I felt pretty good after cross season was over and my classes mostly died down. My biggest strength was that I've really been enjoying learning about meditation. I'm adjusting this goal for the future to one or two times week for 30 minutes.   </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I was successful every week except for thanksgiving week because I was gone the whole week. I took my accountability goal to golden wok and ate way too much food so that was a highlight. I also took my old roommate out to eat since I haven't ate with him since the start of the project. This probably ended up being my favorite goal since it helped build and revive a lot of friendships. I will continue with this goal as long as I can afford it.   </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I moved in with my girlfriend three months ago and we have done a really good job at dividing labor so we both feel it's fair and we have done a good job at communicating when we feel the other could change a habit to make our duties a little easier. I will say a future decision would be getting a good dishwasher and washer and dryer so that our chores are easier but that's a big finical choice just for something we can currently do with a little more effort. I will say the traditional division of labor isn't for since I enjoy doing chores around the house to feel productive. As for cost of raising a child I think it's a major barrier for me wanting to ever have a child because it limits you so much financially and restricts you on what you can and afford. I don't think I would feel comfortable having a child unless I was living comfortably without having to really worry about bills. I think to maintain my well being just continuing with my goals and using my weekly and monthly track goals to help keep me on track should be good. </div>]]></description>
