This can lead to someone being discriminated or segregated.

A positive aspect because you need loyalty and devotion in a civilisation. You need to gain the people trust. Let them know that you are there to help them and the town.  Except on the other hand, nationalism can also bring bad reputations with other civilizations and towns in the surroundings. Disagreements and wars can happen due to this. 

Day 2:
Nationalims. 

I still believe nationalism can have good aspects and bad ones. 
As it was said in the article the nationalism is when we are together as a nation. Except of course nationalism has to be stopped as some point before it gets worse. The bad things about nationalism is the fact that all of these different behaviours can bring into fights and wars. As it was mentioned in the video with the famous American and Russian boxer fighting each other. Once the American won the match the Americans had joy and weren't worried about the other boxer, or not saying he defeated himself well in some extent. It was also mentioned that this is how most people react when there are sports competitions happening between countries or areas in the world, people get very aggressive and start thinking for themselves. Usually nationalistic groups en up as Xenophobic or fascist, which are Nationalists to the extreme, by believing they are naturally a better race than other races. This is wrong as respect is needed and believing you are superior to the other race is fundamentally wrong. The most violent war in history was started by Ultra Nationalists. Dont get me wrong, supporting your country and liking it and feeling loyal to it is a very good thing, but that is Patriotism more than Nationalism.

I still think that it is definitely more bad than good. I learnt from the video on the New York times, that people were more protective of their country and not open to others coming in. I thought the people were only proud of their country and were still willing to go to war with anyone outside their borders. But I did not know that when you are too proud, you can get over obsessed and close your country off to good opportunities. When the lady in the video said "If you don't speak English and don't contribute, get out" she seemed like she was too nationalist and that she had too see all the other countries in the world.
America says that they will include anyone who comes to their land and that they already include any one who has been there for multiple centuries, but look at the native people that the Americans pushed out, they did not accept them!

Most people agreed with my opinions, so there wasn’t much to change my views dramatically. I actually got to know that nationalism at one level is not as bad, so that’s a change. But when I saw the video and read the article, my views changed. Now, I believe Nationalism is appropriate in certain ways, and not appropriate in others, and I found out the ways that I am a Nationalist in my life. I support Greece, and I am proud of my country, that's a nationalist view, but I that does not mean that I wish death upon other nations. I noticed that people were mixed in the subject. half of the people thought nationalism is bad, and some thought it is good. I haven’t really changed my mind because nationalism is very important to keep people together and agree on something. Huntington had the theory that if our world collapsed, it would be because of nationalism. That shows how strong people are as a group, than individually. So no, I have not changed my mind.
