         <description><![CDATA[<div>William Pitt funded the military in 1757 and caused the British army to be more powerful. France Lost the battle of Quebec, France signed the treaty of Paris in 1763, giving control of Canada and all land east of the Mississippi River to the British. Since William Pitt so heavily funded the military it caused them to be in tons of debt that they had to make up for. Leading to taxing American colonists.</div>]]></description>

Since the war was so heavily funded by the British it caused them to tax the American colonists. The American colonists didn't really appreciate this and it led to revolt and the Revolutionary war.</div>]]></description>
