1) To gain confidence. In my previous school I never raised my hand much, I never ran for officer, I never tried to get any special positions or get into any extra stuff. I was the very definition of slightly above average, but still painfully average.

  I plan on changing this through at the very least attempting to become one of the class officers, raising my hand more often, and taking leader positions more often. Attempting to become class officer alone would force me to stretch my social network more than I'm used to, I believe it's a rather fun challenge.

2) To finally get past 2nd best and become 1st. In my old school, I was always just a few points away from becoming an A student, but never actually became one. I was always just a little short of "Number 1".

This year I plan to change that by using studying methods that actually appeal to me instead of just reading the same text out loud over and over again, as well as studying much, much more in advance.

3) To explore my interests more openly and to not be ashamed of the interests of mine which don't fit with what I usually associate with myself.

I have a lot of goals for this school year; when I say a lot, I mean a LOT. One of my first goals is being able to get into the archery club/varsity in the school. Why archery and not other sports? I have been doing a lot of archery this summer and I want to focus on that (but of course I need to focus on getting numbers on those papers before I do anything else), I also want to join because I want to catch up to my cousins and I want to enter into mini and someday larger competitions because my family has a reputation of being competitive whether we win or lose. Another goal I have in mind is to get a reward in this SY so that I can say I moved up to grade 8 proudly. I also want to gain more confidence in myself because I've never properly introduced myself without stuttering or saying "Uhh" and "Uhm" before. I also just want to gain more friends so that I have many more people to talk to, but that is still in progress haha. But the most important goal is getting into grade 8. I said that I wanted to get a reward but why do that if I didn't pass 7th grade?
